Sculpture
EYFS – I can handle and begin to manipulate malleable materials to make a recognisable object.
Year 1 – I can use materials to make a known object by pinching and rolling materials.
Year 2 – I am beginning to shape and form materials from direct observation, using basic tools to start to add detail to my sculpture.
Year 3 – I can shape, model, form and construct using materials and am becoming aware of the aesthetic appearance for my audience.
Year 4 – I have begun to connect materials together and have started to proportion my sculpture to represent real life.
Year 5 – I can successful connect pieces of clay together and mould in life like proportions to some accuracy. I am starting to think about the mood and expression my sculpture shows the audience.
Year 6 – I can successful connect pieces of clay together and mould in life like proportions with increasing accuracy. I am able to think about the mood and expression my sculpture shows the audience.
Mastery – I can create a unique sculpture with high levels of proportion and accuracy. My sculpture successfully captures complex emotions and mood.
